No matter where you are in your life, if you pause long enough for God to move in your world, you’ll get wisdom. Now, I’m barely hanging on to my twenties but I have seen God use the men in my life to reach me, from my childhood to womanhood. I thank Him for that, even though I went through a period when I didn’t think much of men at all. I’m not too proud of that, but I could not be the woman I am today without the significant men in my life, present and past.

While I understand that there are (lots) of men who are far from honorable, there are still a shining few that truly are. I call these men Kingdom Men. They are men with purpose, vision, and a plan to make a difference. When you have come to accept that there are good men, even great men of God on this earth, then you need to start honoring them. You want them to feel encouraged because they are our leaders and warriors, fathers, brothers and husbands, protectors and friends. We need the best men to fill these roles and to keep them.

Monday, January 17 is Dr. Martin Luther the King’s birthday. If ever there was a male human being that cherished all of his responsibilities in every role created by God for him, it was Martin Luther King! On Sunday, January 16, another Kingdom Man will lend his talk radio show The Power Of One Voice to pay homage to today’s Great Men of Purpose. Be sure to catch Sean Anthony The Hip Hop Motivator as he hosts “A Call To Mankind” on The Power Of One Voice live at 9AM Sunday, January 16on WCDX iPower 92.1 or online at www.ipowerrichmond.com.

1 Samuel 16:18 “He’s also courageous, of age, well-spoken, and good-looking. And God is with him.”
